The Greenville County school district suffered from a data breach that exposed the names and birth dates of more than 24,000 current and former students.
Students born between 2004 and 2011 who attended kindergarten in the district between 2012 and 2017 were affected.
And the School stated that without Social Security numbers, not much can be done.
