Farmers Investment Company (“FICO”), doing business as Green Valley Pecan Company suffered a data breach incident after an unauthorized party was able to access confidential consumer information stored on the company’s computer network.
The unauthorized party gained access to consumers’ names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account and routing numbers, health insurance information, and certain health or medical information.
After confirming that consumer data was leaked, Green Valley Pecan Company began sending out data breach notification letters to all individuals that were affected by the incident.
