GR Energy Services

On March 3, 2021, the Maine Office of the Attorney General reported a data breach involving GR Energy Services. The breach, which occurred between December 1, 2020, and December 7, 2020, was the result of a phishing attack leading to a ransomware incident. Approximately 2,141 individuals were potentially affected, with specific information compromised including driver's license numbers. Identity theft protection services were offered, including 12 months of credit and CyberScan monitoring, and a $1,000,000 insurance reimbursement policy.
