Taiwanese computer hardware GIGABYTE fell prey to the RansomExx ransomware group in August 2021.
The hackers breached its systems and stole about 112 GB of its business data and encrypted the copies.
The attackers left a note to threaten the company for ransom or they would leak the stolen information on the dark web.
