US-based global insurance brokerage and risk management firm Arthur J. Gallagher suffered a data breach after a ransomware attack on its systems.

The compromised information includes Social Security number, driver's license, passport or other government identification number, date of birth, username and password, employee identification number, financial account, and other personal information of its clients.

The company has informed impacted customers about the breach and has asked them to be alert about any suspicious activity.
