Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center suffered a data breach after an unauthorized party gained access to an employee email account as well as the sensitive consumer data contained within the account.
The breach compromised certain individuals’ personal and protected health information.
Fred Hutch secured the compromised email account and began an internal investigation.
