Frankfurt University Hospital is not accessible due to an alleged hacker attack. It stated that checking and restoring the systems would take weeks.

The network of the facility was cut off from the Internet for security concerns. A crisis team has been constituted, and the supervisory authorities have been alerted.

The in-house IT department and outside organisations are presently occupied analysing the damage and determining what must be done to restore the systems.

At this time, there is no proof that any patient data has been lost. Employees and facilities of the University Hospital Frankfurt cannot be accessible until further notice.
