Freight shipping company Forward Air Corp. disclosed a data breach incident after being targeted in a ransomware attack.

The attackers affected its IT systems and stole certain data, including the personal information of its employees.

The compromised information includes employees’ names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, and bank account numbers.
