Florida Orthopaedic Institute

The Florida Orthopaedic Institute suffered from a data breach incident after hackers gained access to a server that exposed protected health information. 

The compromised information includes birth dates, Social Security numbers, medical information, insurance data and other sensitive health data.

The Florida Orthopaedic Institute has agreed to pay $4 million to resolve these claims despite not admitting any wrongdoing.
