Flight tracking site Flightradar24 has suffered a security breach.
It compromised the email addresses and hashed passwords of a small subset of users.
Users began receiving emails overnight asking them to reset their passwords, and the company later confirmed in multiple forums the emails were genuine.
The security breach was limited to one server and it was promptly shut down once the intrusion attempt had been ascertained.
There is no indication for any personal information or payment information being compromised.
