**Honeywell Faces $470M Charge Amid Flexjet Legal Dispute, Adjusts Earnings Outlook**
Honeywell announced on Monday a projected one-time charge of approximately $470 million in Q4 2024, linked to a potential settlement in litigation with Flexjet, a private aviation company. The news triggered a 1.3% dip in Honeywell’s premarket shares.

In addition to the legal setback, Honeywell revised its 2024 adjusted earnings forecast, lowering expectations to $9.70–$9.80 per share from the prior $10.60–$10.70 range. The company also plans to reclassify its Advanced Materials unit as discontinued operations starting in Q4 2025, following the spin-off of Solstice Advanced Materials.
