Fast Shop, one of Brazil's largest retailers suffered an 'extortion' cyberattack that led to network disruption and the temporary closure of its online store.
The attack impacted its main website, mobile apps, and online ordering system, so the retailer had to take systems offline in response of the attack.
The attackers accessed the firm's databases on AWS, Azure, GitLab, and IBM cloud, stealing website/app source code and valuable user and corporate data.
Fast Shop notified its customers who has an account on their e-commerce platform to reset their passwords.
