F & P Georgia Manufacturing Inc., a Tier 1 automotive parts supplier based in Rome, Georgia, disclosed a data breach affecting 12,132 individuals across the U.S., including 22 residents of Indiana. The company detected suspicious activity on its network and launched an investigation, confirming that an unauthorized actor accessed and exfiltrated files between June 24 and July 2, 2025.
The exposed data included Social Security numbers and driver’s license information, raising concerns about potential identity theft. F & P Georgia reported the breach to the Indiana Attorney General and the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on April 20, 2026, the same day it began notifying affected individuals.
As part of its response, the company is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Cyberscout. The services include single-bureau credit monitoring, credit reports, and real-time alerts for credit file changes. Affected individuals must enroll within 90 days of receiving their notification letter using a unique activation code.
