The attackers locked up its computer system and made it difficult for them to restore the backup.

Thus EPH paid a $10,000 deductible to the insurance company for their payment of the ransom to unlock the files.

However, as they were unlocking files, they found more locks, so they had to go back and pay the hackers more.
