Electronic Warfare Associates (EWA), a US defense contractor, suffered from a data breach in which attackers exfiltrated files containing personal information.
EWA discovered that a threat actor took over one of their email accounts and stolen information of the company's employees.
The compromised information includes names, Social Security Numbers, and driver's license number.
To combat identity theft, the company provided a two-year subscription to Equifax's services.
In addition, the notification advises recipients to keep a watchful eye on their financial account records and credit reports.
