E-Land Group, a South Korean fashion and retail behemoth, reported that a ransomware attack had forced it to halt operations at roughly half of its locations nationwide.
The group claimed that early in the morning, ransomware hit its corporate network infrastructure.
According to E-Land, this type of malware assault has caused 23 of NC Department Store's 50 branches and New Core Outlet to cease operations.
The organization claimed that in order to limit the damage, it has currently shut down a portion of its corporate network system and has asked the authorities to look into the incident.
