Edinburgh Trams targeted by the cyberattack incident which impected its website.
A ransomware campaign that targeted Swiftcard and Mersey Ferries Limited was carried out, according to threat intelligence platform FalconFeeds, by the transnational ransomware organisation NoName.
Edinburgh Trams' s spokesperson made a statement. Our website is temporarily offline as a precaution while we look into a potential cyber-attack against it.
It follows a cyberattack that targeted several of the University of the West of Scotland's (UWS) systems.
