Easterly Government Properties Discloses Data Breach via EY Tax Services Vendor
Easterly Government Properties Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based real estate investment trust that leases properties to U.S. government agencies, has reported a data breach stemming from a security incident at its tax services vendor, EY.
The breach exposed sensitive personal information, including names, physical addresses, Social Security numbers, taxable income, and footnote data. While the exact timeline of the incident remains undisclosed, Easterly notified the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on June 15, 2026.
