Eagle Bank suffered a data breach after an unauthorized party gained access to sensitive consumer information that was entrusted to the bank.
The breach compromised the names, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers and driver’s license numbers of certain bank customers.
Eagle Bank sent out data breach letters to all affected parties, informing them of the steps to protect themselves from fraudulent activities.
