A Saskatoon gardening centre was targeted in a ransomware attack that affected its computer systems.
A notice stating that child pornography was present on the hard drive and could be erased by paying $5,000 to unlock the device appeared when the company's computers froze.
Due to computer backups, Dutch Growers was able to recover the majority of its data without having to pay a ransom.
