The IT systems of a Deutsche Windtechnik AG, a German wind turbine technology specialist were hit by a targeted cyberattack.
the attack forced the company to shut down all systems and cut all remote data monitoring connections to the wind turbines for security reasons.
Deutsche Windtechnik reconnected the machines and turbines and continued its operations in Germany with minor restrictions.
