Department of Conservation (DOC)

Department of Conservation's search and rescue base at Aoraki/Mount fell prey to a ransomware attack.

The attackers accessed the private information of its staff at the base, as well as people helped through DOC operations.

The DOC took preventive measures immediately and isolated the systems.
