The incident was officially reported to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office on December 26, 2025, with affected consumers notified shortly after.
The breach involved unauthorized access to Dentistry.One’s systems, potentially exposing personally identifiable information (PII), including names, addresses, government-issued IDs, and Social Security numbers. The company detected the intrusion and launched an internal investigation, confirming that the unauthorized party was identified. The attacker’s data was verified as deleted, and a termination certificate was signed to attest to its non-misuse.
