Delta Dental of California suffered from a data breach incident which exposed information of 7 million people.
The company claims that neither electronic data nor Delta Dental's benefit processing system were hacked.
Depending on the information their dentist supplied on the claim, some of the participants' private information might have been included in the documentation.
The documents may have contained personal information like the person's Social Security number or birthdate.
