Trustees of Amherst College

On November 4, 2022, the Maine Office of the Attorney General reported a data breach involving Amherst College. The breach, which occurred between May 18, 2022, and May 23, 2022, involved unauthorized access to employee email accounts and affected 365 individuals, including personal information of one Maine resident, specifically their Social Security number. Identity theft protection services were offered to the affected resident.
