Cryptopia, a cryptocurrency exchange based in New Zealand suffered from a data breach incident on January 2019.

Only a few tweets from the exchange have so far provided any information about the specifics of the attack and how much the exchange has lost.

The company informed customers that trading on the Cryptopia exchange would be paused while it was still in maintenance mode.
