A hacking group known as THE INTERNET YIFF MACHINE has allegedly stolen over 8.3 million records from P3 Global Intel, a Texas-based firm managing anonymous crime tip programs for Crime Stoppers. The breach, reported by Straight Arrow News, includes data spanning from February 1987 to November 2025, encompassing tips, user account details, customer support requests, and a confidential internal tool allowing customers to track tipsters’ IP addresses directly contradicting P3’s claims of complete anonymity.
The incident has drawn comparisons to 2020’s BlueLeaks, where the Anonymous hacking collective exposed intelligence files from a firm linked to Fusion Centers, many of which had partnerships with P3.
