Creative Services, Inc.

A virtual “smash and grab” attack on Creative Services Inc, that conducts background checks on everyone compromised the sensitive personal records of 164,000 job-seekers and license applicants in Massachusetts.

The stolen records included names, Social Security numbers, driver’s licenses, and other identifying information.

The firm took preventive steps to secure its computer network and offered two years of free credit monitoring services to the affected persons.
