Calgary's Cowboys Casino suffered a cyberattack in June 2016 that breached the personal information of staff and customers.
The incident affected about 1,600 casino patrons and 300 staff.
The compromised information did not contain credit card information but names, phone numbers, and addresses were.
The police investigated the incident with the help of the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission and notified all the affected individuals.
