The public health department of a county in Wisconsin was the victim of a ransomware attack that compelled administrators to shut down several services.
Several of Rock County, Wisconsin's computer systems were impacted by a cyberattack, officials there informed Recorded Future News.
The Cuba ransomware group made the attack their own. The group, which has no connection to the nation, did not specify how much data was taken, but they did indicate that it included financial records, tax records, and other information.
However, there shouldn't be much service disruption right now for the general public.
