Cooper University Health Care

The email account of an employee of NJ-based Cooper University Health Care was accessed by an unauthorized individual.

The compromised email account contained information such as names, dates of birth, medical professional names, diagnosis, and treatment information, billing and claims information, and medical record numbers.

The healthcare immediately launched the investigation upon knowing about the security incident.
