Concordia University suffered from a cyber attack that exposed 9,000 students.
The compromised information includes name, Concordia ID number, and email address.
Financial information or student records not affected.
Students who used those laptops were given password reset instructions by the university, which also suggested they check their bank accounts for signs of fraud or identity theft.
