The data breach at Financial Business and Consumer Solutions (FBCS) impacted approximately 238,000 Comcast customers after a ransomware attack. The incident involved unauthorized access between February 14 and February 26, 2024, where attackers could view or acquire sensitive information. The compromised data included names, Social Security numbers, and account details. While FBCS is not aware of further misuse of the data, Comcast is providing affected individuals with free credit monitoring services for a year.
