Columbia Pacific Advisors Discloses Major Data Breach Affecting 1,595 Individuals
Columbia Pacific Advisors LLC, a Seattle-based alternative investment firm, revealed a significant data breach in which an unauthorized third party accessed sensitive systems within its network. The intrusion occurred on November 28, 2025, with the company detecting the incident shortly after and launching an investigation.
By June 2, 2026, the firm confirmed that exposed data included highly sensitive personal information, such as names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license and passport numbers, financial account details, health insurance IDs, and medical records. Additionally, system access credentials including usernames, passwords, and security question answers may have been compromised.
The breach impacted 1,585 Washington residents, nine Massachusetts residents, and one Vermont resident. Columbia Pacific Advisors posted a public notice on its website and began mailing written notifications to affected individuals on June 12, 2026.
In response, the company is providing complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Experian IdentityWorks. A dedicated assistance line (833-931-5666) and mailing address (1910 Fairview Ave. E., Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98102) have been established for inquiries.
