Cobb County suffered from a data breach incident in April 2017 that exposed Voters’ personal data.
The equipment used to check in voters at the polls, was stolen, the stolen machine, known as an ExpressPoll unit.
The compromised information includes drivers’ license numbers, addresses, and other data, it does not include Social Security numbers.
They opened an investigation and took steps to ensure that it has no effect on the election.
