A hacker group claims to have accessed the CNN-News18 news website in India in order to disprove reports that they compromised PayTM Mall.
The video-on-demand provider ZEE5 was hacked by the same organisation that had defaced numerous websites.
In an effort to disprove allegations that they were responsible for the PayTM breaches, John Wick allegedly broke into the Twitter account of the Indian Prime Minister and hacked the TV network News18 to spread the word about their innocence.
The threat actors allegedly broke into Cyble's amibreached.com in order to obtain its database and install a remote access tool to an open directory.
