City of Stillwater, Oklahoma

The City of Stillwater suffered from a data breach incident after an unauthorized party had access to a city computer that exposed 3,000 people's information.

No financial information was on the compromised computer, but certain personal data, including names, addresses, license numbers, and in some circumstances social security numbers, has been exposed.

They advised affected people to contact the national credit reporting agencies and ask for a fraud alert on their credit reports.
