The City of Allen Park is hit with a ransomware attack after hackers, who are threatening to reveal all of the city's data unless officials pay up.
Although the amount of money requested is unclear, the threat states that if the group's requests are not met, data will be made publicly available at 10:34 am on March 22nd, 2023.
They attempt to publicly humiliate and harass any victim organisations, putting actual pressure on them to make a payment.
