The computer systems of the City of Tulsa were affected by a ransomware attack for more than three weeks.
A large number of systems were connected to the network and each system was scanned and restored individually, so the process took longer.
The city’s utility bill paying website remained down and the residents were not able to pay their bills, however, the city promised that no one would have their city utilities cut off.
