The City College of San Francisco was compromised in a phishing email scam that was a legitimate request.

The attack compromised the student's information name, address, Social Security number, and other information contained in your application for financial aid.

They immediately investigated the incident and secured the email account, reset passwords also offered one year of Experian’s ProtectMyID Alert service.
