The City Hall computer servers of El Monte had an “unauthorized access” to its system that cancelled the City Council meeting and left the city without email access.
Although the city took offline in an abundance of caution as the El Monte Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were investigating the incident.
However, no sensitive information was lost in the attack.
