A city of Kent staff member inadvertently disclosed to (another city) employee a file containing the 2020 W-2 Wage and Tax Statement information for all city employees.
The city immediately took the protective steps and contacted those whose information was disclosed in the incident.
The information included full names, addresses, Social Security numbers, salary information, and other related information found on a W-2 Wage and Tax Statement for those employed in 2020.
