City of Shafter

The City of Shafter was targeted in a ransomware attack that froze and locked its IT system and affected some City services.

The federal law enforcement agencies worked hard to determine the source and the extent of the unauthorized access.

But the city informed everyone that no personal information was leaked in the attack.
