City of Killeen, Texas

The City of Killeen's website was hit by a targeted cyberattack in August 2016.

Visitors to the Killeen's website were welcomed with a message of “HACKED BY llJACKSPARROWll” along with an image of a Turkish Flag and Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

They immediately started an investigation and restored the website.
