An unauthorized party gained access to the computer networks of the Central Bank of Florida containing certain files having sensitive consumer information.
The compromised information included names, Social Security numbers, and financial account numbers of the customers, shareholders, employees as well as other individuals whose information was included on applications for loans or business accounts.
The bank notifies the affected individuals to be aware of any suspicious activities in their bank accounts as the compromised information can be used for various fraudulent activities by the threat actors.
