Carlisle Area School District

Officials from the federal government informed the Carlisle Area School District that ransomware had infected the school's internet system.

The school district adds that they are attempting to restore internet service as soon as possible and that they are now consulting with professionals to help them resolve the problem.

The number of parents and visitors is restricted by the school district, and anyone who intends to pick up their child from school must make arrangements with the office.

For the food service division, the school is using a workaround for student account information.

Students won't be allowed to use internet-based programmes like computers and iPads, according to the school district.
