CWGS Group, a holding company that does business under the name Camping World and Good Sam suffered a data breach after the company confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access sensitive consumer information in the company’s possession.
The breach compromised the consumer information including names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, government ID numbers, tax ID numbers, financial account numbers, debit & credit card numbers, digital & electronic signatures, and usernames & passwords.
Camping World investigated the incident after it detected suspicious activity within its computer system and sent out data breach letters to all affected parties.
