Boy Scouts of America

The personal information of kids and their parents was unintentionally made public by one of the Boy Scouts of America's partners.

It's not known how many users' data was exposed during the event or whether it was a regional or national problem.

The duration of the information's exposure is likewise unknown. Trails End informed users through email that the issue that would have permitted unauthorised users to view the data has been resolved.

In a letter sent last week, the corporation expressed regret for the occurrence and said that it was stepping up security.
