Bomco, Inc. Data Breach Exposes Sensitive Personal Information of Over 800 Individuals
Shamis & Gentile P.A., a class action law firm specializing in data breach cases, is investigating a cybersecurity incident involving Bomco, Inc., a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of precision metal components for aerospace, industrial gas turbines, power generation, and marine propulsion systems.
On June 17, 2025, Bomco detected unauthorized access to its network, with forensic analysis later confirming that an unknown actor had infiltrated its systems between June 14 and June 16, 2025. The breach potentially resulted in the exfiltration of sensitive files. After a lengthy review, Bomco completed its assessment on April 20, 2026, and began notifying affected individuals via written notice on May 18, 2026.
The exposed data includes Social Security numbers, names, credit/debit card details, driver’s licenses, financial account information, government ID numbers, and health records. The breach impacted 821 individuals across three states: 811 in Massachusetts, six in Vermont, and four in Maine.
Legal representatives are evaluating potential compensation claims for those affected, though no lawsuit has been formally filed at this time. Bomco has not disclosed the cause of the breach or whether ransomware was involved.
