A London investment firm gave out a list of the participants, including names and employers, to those in the chat room, revealing the identities of almost a thousand Bloomberg terminal users who were taking part in an anonymous chat room.
A portion of a chat transcript from August 1 was also included in the hack and provided enough information to link actual people to anonymous talks.
